The annual Spring Garden Tour of
outstanding private gardens is the first weekend in May. This is a
wonderful opportunity to visit noteworthy gardens and see what does
well in our area. The private gardens all reflect their owners' taste
in design and plant material. What a great opportunity to learn from
the experts.
The annual Christmas Tour of Homes is the
first Friday in December. Three beautiful homes and the Garden Center
are decorated for the holidays and filled with wonderful items for
sale that will add beauty to your holiday celebration.
Major plant sales held in conjunction with
these tours offer plants that can only be purchased from specialty
growers. This is your chance to add unusual specimens to your
collection.
Flower shows and seminars are held during
the year and are open to the public. They provide opportunities to
learn more about growing and showing plants.
