Is it all right to feed bread to the ducks on the pond?

Yes, it is. In fact they will probably meet you with glee. They love company, especially from those that come bearing gifts of bread. Please encourage your children to respect our resident wildlife. Can anyone be a volunteer here or do you have to be a member of a garden club?

All volunteers are welcome. This is a volunteer organization and the only requirement for participation is that you be interested in helping to make this botanical Garden the best that it can be. We are sure to be able to find a way that will utilize your time or talents. Some of the opportunities are: Working at the main desk in the Horticultural Center, giving Guided Tours in the Conservatory or in the Gardens to adult or student groups, serving as a Volunteer Gardener either in the Conservatory or the Gardens, helping with Fund-Raising Events and many, many more.
